

Anabel Law Rose passed away December 22 2024 at Longmont United Hospital. She was born to a Colorado pioneer family on October 14, 1924 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Her father was Robert E Law and her mother was Anna (Goodwin) Law.
Anabel graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1942 and continued her education at the University of Colorado where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. Anabel also worked for Mountain Bell Telephone and Telegraph as a service representative.
In 1946 Anabel married Joseph Quentin Rose. They became parents to Myra Jo and Deborah Ann. In 1956 Anabel and Joe moved to Longmont to open Longmont Auto Parts which they owned until 1982. They enjoyed working and living in Longmont and traveling together until Joe passed away in 1984. Anabel married James W. Williams, an old friend from her youth, in 2004. They shared many happy times together before his death in 2009.
Throughout her life, Anabel was active in many volunteer organizations, including St. Vrain Civic Music, PEO Chapter M, Sunshine Club, Meals on Wheels, Hospital Auxiliary and First Congregational United Church of Christ. Later in her life she was a member of First Lutheran Church.
Anabel is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Joseph Q. Rose, James W. Williams, brothers David E. Law and Robert E. Law, Jr, daughter Myra Jo Dreyer, son-in-law Dr. Donald P. Dreyer, and step daughter Carole MacIntyre.
She leaves behind sisters-in-law Eleanor Law, Shirley Law, daughter Deborah Ann Guse (Allan), three step daughters Kathy Goodrich, Christine Stratton and Alisa Faloona and their families. Anabel is also survived by grandsons Jay Q. Dreyer (Kristin), Lee M. Dreyer (Megan) Kevin E. Guse (Alisha) and granddaughter Allison L. Mackey (Brian), nine great-grandchildren: Quentin, Eli, Miles and Max Dreyer, Garrett, Cooper and Davis Mackey, Jordyn and Jase Guse, several cousins, numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sunshine Club in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, PEO and The OUR Center. A private family service will be held.
