Ann and I met at a class in Denver for ARCH healing in 2001. We became immediate friends and continued our relationship for the rest of her life. I spent many hours with her and took care of her farm in Hudson several times. We had many great meals at the Pepper Pod. Several years ago we took a trip up to Frisco and stayed at a nice VRBO condo.  She asked me to be her personal representative upon her passing and I agreed.  She did not want a memorial service. What she did ask for was a BIG PARTY. Her friend Lisa and I will be figuring out how to make that happen so that her plethora of friends can get together and enjoy a good time in her honor. Once it is decided I will be using her phone contacts to issue invitations.  Donations can be made to her two favorite charities: Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue and Colorado Horse Rescue.

Ann"s warm comfortable personality was with us at our Colorado Carousel Society events.  Enjoyed our visits and found that she had been at Lakewood High School with my Aunt Jean Long Shrader.  So blessed by the memory of her kind smile.      Susan Knapp  

I met Ann when we both started to work at Concepts Direct in Longmont, CO in 2000.  We were customer service reps at this catalog company & found that this turned out to be soooooooo much more than we ever thought it would be.
We were all under very strict supervision, even being called back to our phones while in the bathroom & we had 3 mins 14 seconds to complete the ideal call.  Lots of pressure.  But, Ann as well as most of us took it with a grain of salt.
UNTIL one day during her annual review, Ann, was given a pretty poor report and the powers that be gave her a whopping THREE CENT raise for the entire year.  As usual, she just sort of laughed it off.
For the over 20 years that Ann was part of my life, I never remember hearing any cross words from her & I can still hear her belly laugh.
I will miss you, my dear friend...you were certainly ONE OF A KIND!
