Anna Mae Motz

She was born at home on December 14, 1932 in Tungsten, Colorado to Annie A. Bailey who passed away in 1993 and William I. Ebersole who passed away in 1950.

Anna Mae married Everett D. (Pete) Motz on June 4, 1950 in Nederland, Colorado. He preceded her in death in 1994. Together they raised four children.

Anna Mae was proud to be a Colorado native and from a family of Colorado Pioneers. She spent her formative years in Nederland where she grew up with seven siblings and had numerous friends. She loved her family and was known for always lending a helping hand, she had an easy-going sprite, was an accomplished seamstress. She worked as a rural carrier for the USPS for several years. Upon retirement she volunteered in the community, worked on the election board.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Howe Mortuary & Crematory, 439 Coffman St, Longmont, Colorado.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 10:00 am at Howe Mortuary & Crematory, 439 Coffman St, Longmont, Colorado. A reception will follow the funeral service in the Howe Mortuary Reception Room.

A graveside committal will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Green Mountain Cemetery, 290 20th St, Boulder, Colorado.
