Art Flores

Art Flores, 56, of Longmont, Colorado passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at Longmont United Hospital. Art was born in Greeley, Colorado on August 5, 1960 to Concepcion Medoza and Amaila Romero. Art worked for Longmont Foods for several years, and it was there he met the love of his life 35 years ago. He and Maria married on July 19th, 1982 and together they had four children.

During life Art loved to go fishing, camping, watch wresting, going to yard sales and spending time with his six grandchildren. Being a member of the T.O.P Car Club, he also enjoyed working on old cars and going to car shows. Art also attended St. Theresa Catholic Church in Fredrick.

Art is survived by his wife Maria, his children; Jose (Amy) Flores, Art Jr. Flores, Andrea (Ector) Mena, and Crystal Flores, his grandchildren; Hector Mena, David Mena, Valeria Mena, Sabrina Flores, Anabella Flores and Avery Flores. He is further survived by his siblings Joe Flores, Willie Flores, Cynthia Valenzuela, Diana Soto, Linda Flores- Mendoza and Salvador Flores. Art is preceded in death by Russell Mendoza and Lupe Flores- Orosco.

There will be a visitation at Howe Mortuary from 3:00 - 6:00PM on Monday, May 1, 2017 with a Rosary Service following at 6:00PM.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Church at 1:00PM on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 with burial at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery following.
