Arthur Aragon

Arthur G. Aragon, 77, of Frederick passed away March 1, 2018 at Boulder Community Health Foothills Hospital.He was born May 29, 1940 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Eufelio and Francis (Valdez) Aragon. Arthur moved with his family to Longmont and graduated from Longmont High School.In 1988 he married Abdulia Peralta.Arthur has worked as a bus driver for first transit and had also worked at IBM.He enjoyed horse racing; dog racing; listening to country music like Flaco Jimenez and polkas. Arthur liked gardening, playing bingo and playing with his grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Sefe Aragon and Alfonso Aragon.Arthur is survived by his wife Abdulia Carmen Aragon, three daughters Lisa Rodgers, Dolores Aragon and Judy Campos, step-son Jorge Silva, step-daughter Janet Sequeros, grandchildren Nicholas, Felix, Piero, Araceli, Andre, Gianfranco, Alexandra, Jorge and Frabizio; six brothers Juan Aragon, Gilbert Aragon (Juana), Tom Aragon, Ted Aragon (Debora), David Aragon, J Aragon and four sisters Helen Smith (Mike), Mary Vigil (Randy), Patsy Lewis and Shela Nay (Ken).Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm with Rosary Prayers at 7:00 pm March 6, 2018 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
