He was born on September 10, 1931, in Longmont, Colorado. He later attended Colorado State University. Arthur joined the United States Air Force. He subsequently built a career spanning more than three decades as a manufacturing engineer with Sundstrand Aviation. Arthur found joy in wood carving and spending time in the mountains, pursuits that brought him much happiness throughout his life.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, H. Karen Hansen, his stepson Douglas Harper and daughter-in-law Debra Harper, along with grandchildren Chelsi Cooper, Chadd Harper, and James Harper and his wife Nicole. Arthur also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Avery, as well as niece, Nyla Bristow and nephew, Douglas Clark.
In keeping with Arthur’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Friends and family are invited to remember him in their own way, cherishing the memories they shared.
