Aurice Ann Jensen

Aurice Ann Jensen, 77, of Longmont, CO, died July 27, 2018 at her daughters home surrounded by family and loved ones. Aurice was born February 10, 1941 the daughter of Peter and Agnes Wulfekuhl in Kenmare, ND. She spent her early years helping on the family farms with her younger sister Rita in Montana and the Kenmare area. On July 2, 1960, Aurice was united in marriage to Duane Jensen at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Kenmare, ND. Following their marriage they made their home in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Colorado and New Mexico. After owning then selling two businesses in Kenmare they returned to Colorado and eventually retired to Yuma Arizona for 13 years. They later moved to Longmont CO, to be closer to family and friends. Aurice enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, sports, traveling, practical jokes and a great laugh, but most of all she enjoyed time with family and friends. Her family that loves her and are going to miss her include son Peter Jensen (Dan Lenox), daughter Louise Mogren (John Jacob), grandchildren LaCee Mogren (Vanessa Ramirez), Lee Mogren, great grandchildren Ike, Myles, Lillyana, sister-in-law Dorothy Bauer and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Aurice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Duane, sister Rita, sister-in-law Vallie Jensen, brother-in-laws Donovan Jensen and Robert Bauer. Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Service. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 13th, 2018 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel in Longmont.
