Barbara June Mullen

Barbara June Mullen, 80, of Loveland, formerly of Longmont, died December 17, 2011 in Loveland. She was born April 1, 1931 in Longmont, CO to Rollie and Pauline (Green) Chandler. On July 23, 1949 in Ft. Collins she married Orlin Brownie Mullen.Barbara was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.She was a member of First Baptist Church. Following her husband's death in 1989 Barbara became a volunteer grief counselor for Hospice of Boulder County, a position she cherished as she was able to help people in the difficult time of loss.She enjoyed needle crafts, camping and RVing.Barbara is survived by her daughter Annette Riley (Robert) of Loveland, granddaughter Nicole Rarick (James) of San Diego, CA, grandson Branden Riley of Ft. Collins, and great granddaughter Kelsie Riley of Louisville.DUE TO SNOWSTORM: Memorial services will be held 1:00pm Friday, December 23, 2011 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Cremation at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties and sent in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
