
Friends and family will gather for a celebration of her life on November 4th, 2022. This date would have been her 93rd birthday.
Barbara graduated from Irving High School as the valedictorian of her class in 1946. She went on to graduate from Abilene Christian College where she met Richard (Dick) Qualls. They were married April 2,1950 and moved to Aurora, Colorado where they raised their four children, Mark (Denise)Qualls, Matt (L'von) Qualls, Shannon (Guthrie) Nelson, and Erin (Mike) Krek. They were married for over 65 years. Barbara is survived by her four children, 16 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. One grandchild preceded her in death.
Barbara was a school teacher, Bible class teacher and a servant in the Lord's church her entire life.
Her grandchildren will always remember Gram reading to them or helping them with school work. She was a wonderful cook, seamstress and avid reader. She supported her family in all walks of life. Barbara and Dick's home - the Quall-i-ty Inn -was known as a place where one could have a good meal and even stay the night. She will be missed but not forgotten. She is now at rest in her eternal home with her Lord and Savior.
