Billie Jean Haynes

Billie Jean Haynes, 59, of Longmont passed away December 5, 2015 at Longmont United Hospital.She was born April 10, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois to William and Wanita (Lafayette) Peck. Billie grew up in Park Ridge, IL graduating from Maine East High School.Billie married Dave Haynes on July 20, 1991 at First Presbyterian Church in Boulder. Her first marriage was to Alan R. Hinkle, the father of her two children.She and Dave have lived in Boulder, Heatherwood in Gunbarrel and since 2006 in Longmont.Billie had worked as a hostess at the Golden Buff restaurant in Boulder where she met Dave and later for Montgomery Wards as a bookkeeper. For the past 15 years Billie has been a devoted wife and homemaker. Family is the center of her life as she has devoted much time and love to her children and especially her five grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents.Billie is survived her husband Dave of Longmont, son Johnny Hinkle (Carrie) of Mead, daughter Amber Venezia (Frank) of Arvada, CO, five grandchildren William, Barry, Frank, Amelia and Sophia, and three sisters Lou Marie Skepner, Cherie Ann Patrick and Callie Jo Kaprinay. We love her and miss her deeply.Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
