Billy Marlan Rice

Billy Marlan Rice, Jr., 56, passed away January 13, 2017 at his home in Brighton, ColoradoHe was born April 2, 1960, to Billy Marlan Rice, Sr. and Veronica (Collins) Rice in Detroit, Michigan. Billy grew up in the Boulder/Longmont area and attended Boulder High School before moving to Brighton. Billy was owner and operator of Technical Foam in Brighton for the majority of his life. Billy enjoyed fishing with kids through the Optimist Club of which he was a very proud member. He also cherished spending time with his family and loved his son, mother, sister and niece very much.Billy was preceded in death by his father.He is survived by his son Rob, mother Veronica Rice, sister Rhonda Stewart (David), niece Megan Flores (Victor) and great nieces and nephews Macrina, Victor, Liliana, and Jorge Flores.A Celebration of Billy's Life will be held 1:00-4:00 PM, Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the American Legion Post 1985, 870 1st Street, Firestone, CO.
