Brenda W. Gotzmer, age 55, of Longmont, CO, passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan 22, 2010 at her home. She was surrounded by her loved ones.For many years Brenda courageously battled complications caused by Lupus.Although this disease afflicted her, she chose to allow her strong spirit to touch everyone around her.Brenda was born Oct 15, 1954 in Front Royal, VA to Johnny and Hilda Williamson, who preceded her in death along with her only brother Grayson Williamson. She is survived by her husband Eric Gotzmer of twenty-five years and one son, Evan Gotzmer, both of Longmont, CO; daughter Erica Schaefer and husband Tyler, Frederick, CO; and one sister Sue Ritenour, Front Royal, VA and three grandchildren, Jack, Maddax and Ruby Sue.Memorial Services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan 28, 2010 at Faith Community Lutheran Church, 9775 Ute Highway, Longmont.
