Bob was born February 13, 1947 in Riverside, CA. He served in the army (stationed in Georgia) and moved to Longmont, CO. Bob met his wife Lenice through her son and married her in 1999 (18 years later. Had to make sure she was the one).
He worked for Comcast/cable for over 20 years and drove Lenice crazy talking about wires and cable jargon. He enjoyed working at Safeway and talking about all the people he saw everyday. Bob loved his wife Lenice and dog Sweet Pea. After his wife passed away he always made sure he was home in time to let the dog out and feed her leftovers. He loved cooking deep fried turkey's and asking his step son Ron how to grill. He would always let his family know if there was a good sale on meat at Safeway. He also enjoyed helping his grandkids make things and bugging the youngest with technical questions. He loved to listen to music, cook and watch movies. In his younger years he excelled at volleyball and racquetball.
Bob was a very generous, happy person who enjoyed messing with his coworkers, Safeway customers and cracking jokes. He said ""Hey Kid"" and ""That is so cool"" on a regular basis.
Bob is survived by his stepsons Mike (wife Linda) Perry, Ron (wife Brigitte) Taylor, grandsons Ryan (wife Trish) Hennig, Austin & Matteau Perry & Kyle Taylor. Granddaughter Chrissy (husband Jed) Nolting and great granddaughter's Grace & Lillian Hennig. He is also survived by niece Laurie (husband Bob) Miller, nephew Greg (wife Wanda) Warfield, great nieces Mandy (Husband Joe) Medina, Jennifer and Jessica (Warfield) and great great nieces and nephews Alyssa, Joe, Michael and Mariah.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Lenice Jones.
A Celebration of Bob's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel in Longmont.
