It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Dell Clark announces her passing on April 16, 2021, after an arduous battle with PSP. She is survived by her sons, Collis “Wade” Clark and Clinton Clark, her daughters in law, grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
A native of Karnes City Texas, Carol moved to Colorado in 1974 with her husband and two sons. Although a piece of her heart remained in Texas with her family, she came to love the beauty of Colorado, especially the majesty of the Rocky Mountains.
Carol enjoyed square dancing, shopping, gardening, but more than anything else, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Whether gathering for reunions in Texas, or enjoying holidays in Colorado or California, time with family was always Carol’s favorite time.
Carol was a fiercely devoted mother and was extremely proud of her sons. She was also a loyal friend, who was blessed with incredibly loving and caring friends who remained dedicated and supportive throughout their many years of friendship.
A gathering of friends and family is being planned for later this summer in Texas to share memories and celebrate Carol’s life.
