Carole Dianne Korbe

Carole was a Colorado native, born on December 30, 1957, in Loveland to Loyd and Irene Kruise. She was a caring and protective sibling to one brother and two sisters. From a young age, Carole loved to go hunting and fishing with her father and enjoyed all things outdoors.

On June 22, 1977, Carole married her husband, Richard Korbe, in Longmont, Colorado. Together, they had two children, Chad and Taylor Korbe. Carole was a loving parent and took great joy in being a homemaker.

Carole's personal interests were vast and varied. She always had a garden and loved to hike, hunt, fish, and crochet. She was also an avid football fan and enjoyed karaoke. Carole had a special love for children and was an awesome aunt to her nieces and nephews.

Carole will be remembered for her devotion to her family and her love for the outdoors and children. Her cherished presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Irene D. Kruise and Loyd F. Kruise; sister, Linda Heaps; and life long friend, Pamela LeVay.

Carole is survived by her husband, Richard A. Korbe; children, Chad Korbe and Taylor (Jessica) Korbe; sister Pamela (Court) Tuck; brother, Michael (VIckie) Kruise; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation is entrusted to Howe Mortuary & Crematory of Longmont, Colorado.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 1:30pm at Faith Community Lutheran Church, 9775 Ute Highway, Longmont, Colorado 80504.
