Carole Joan Schmidt, 85, of Longmont, passed away on September 27, 2023. Carole was born on July 26, 1938 in Jamaica, New York to Harold and Evelyn Heber. Carole worked for Bell Telephone and studied fashion before getting married and having a family. Carole married John William Schmidt on December 7, 1957. In addition to caring for her home and family, Carole enjoyed church, working with her husband in antiques, and doing china repair. Carole was preceded in death by her husband John William Schmidt in April 2014.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Schmidt, daughter Tracey (Greg) Dyer, grandsons Thomas and Benjamin, and daughter Lisa Schmidt. The funeral service will be on Saturday, September 30 at 1:00 at
Howe Mortuary with a reception following.
