Carolyn Clara Denne

Carolyn Denne, beloved wife of John Denne passed away on February 23, 2017 in Lafayette Colorado at Good Samaritan Hospital. Carolyn was born January 2, 1951 in Tulsa Oklahoma to Gloria Prabel and the late Joseph Kaizen.

On August 21, 1971 Carolyn Kaizen married John Denne and they were lovers and best friends. They were deeply in love throughout their time together and will be forever.

Carolyn graduated from Lincoln High School in Denver in 1969, and went on to Colorado State University and later Valley Community College in Van Nuys California.

Carolyn worked at Denver University and in the Oil and Gas industry as an Administrative Assistant for many years.

Near and dear to her heart was quilting. She was a member Family in Christ ""Sew-In"" quilting group, which creates and donates around 100 quilts per year to local charitable organizations for distribution. Her love for Jesus was deep, and she was inspirational in spreading His word wherever she went.

Carolyn leaves behind to cherish a host of family members including her loving husband John E. Denne, mother Gloria Prabel Tucson, Arizona; brother Don Kaizen Lincoln City, Oregon; Margaret Kaizen step mother Corpus Christi, Texas; Anna Denne mother in-law Windsor, Colorado; Jeanne Armstrong Greeley, Colorado; Sally Carrera Hudson, Colorado; as well as many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will take place Friday March 3, 2017 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m., at Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman St. in Longmont, Colorado. Funeral service is Saturday March 4, 2017 at 10:00 am at Howe Mortuary with graveside service afterword and reception to follow..
