Casey Curt Cooley

Casey Curt Cooley of Longmont, CO passed away on October 3, 2026 at the age of 63. Born January 11, 1963, Casey was the son of Jack and Mooneena (Wilkins) Cooley. The family lived in Seattle, WA before moving to Longmont in 1972. Casey completed a High School Certificate.

Those who knew Casey will remember a man who had a very strong work ethic. His interests reflected a curious spirit—whether he was enjoying hula dancing, taking delight in helicopters and airplanes, or settling in with the careful focus of assembling puzzles.

Casey is survived by four siblings, including two brothers: Jack Cooley Jr (Pam) of Colorado Springs, CO, and Cory Cooley (Melissa) of Gilbert, SC; and two sisters: Penny Rehn (Joe) of Milliken, CO and Gwendie McCullough of Vista, CA.He is also survived by his mother Mooneena of San Marcos, CA, three nieces, two nephews, two grand-nieces, and two grand-nephews. Casey was also close with his caregiver Bradd Fanberg. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Bennett as well as his father Jack.

A Memorial Service will be held at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 326 Terry St., Longmont, CO 80501, US, on October 23, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
