Catherine Moore

Catherine (Cathy) E. Moore, 56, of Dacono, died Thursday, September 4, 2014 at True Community Care Center in Louisville, Colorado. Cathy was born on March 28, 1958 in Worcester, Massachusetts to Donald and Katie (Callahan) Abdow. She moved to Colorado in 1968, living first in Littleton before moving to Longmont in 1972. People were very important to Cathy and she often participated in fund raisers to benefit others. Cathy was one of the founders of Frank's Ride, a fundraiser that benefits children with cancer. Cathy enjoyed spending time with her friends, riding motorcycles, and was an avid football fan. She would root for the Broncos as long as they were not playing ""her"" team - the New England Patriots. Cathy is survived by a brother, Donny Abdow, and three sisters; Ellen, Kerrie, and Kirsten, two nieces, three nephews, three great-nephews; her stepmother, Helga Abdow, and numerous very dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and Bob Hamilton, and Pat Moore. A celebration of Cathy's life will be held on Saturday, October 4th from 1:00-5:00pm at the Rocky Mountain Saloon.
