
Charles Robert ?Bob? Bohn of Longmont, Colorado died Sunday, April 9, 2006 at the Applewood Care Center. He was 95 years old.A lifetime resident of Longmont, Bob was born August 3, 1910, the son of Charles and Esther (Vernel) Bohn; he grew up and attended school in Longmont, graduating from Longmont High School in 1931 and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder. Bob married Irene M. Johnson on July 1, 1933 in Estes Park, the couple made their home in Longmont where he raised chickens and ran a small dairy; he lived at the same residence for 72 years. His past time was spent taking daily rides to the mountains and other areas in Boulder County and the surrounding areas. Mr. Bohn is survived by his wife Irene; two daughters, Roberta A. Miller and her husband Carroll of Greeley, and Katherine I. O?Donnell of Arvada; his son, Glenn L. Bohn and his wife Lorraine of Anchorage, AK; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Margaret, Doris, and Ruth; and one brother, William ?Bill.?There will be a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at Howe Mortuary Chapel in Longmont, David Bradshaw officiating. Memorials may be sent to a charity of one?s choice. Cremation and service arrangements have been entrusted to Howe Mortuary in Longmont.
