He was born on July 16, 1962 in Denver, CO to Charles C. Ward, Sr. and Claire Cadorette. They later moved to Longmont where he graduated from Skyline High School in 1980. Right after graduation he joined the Navy for 4 years. From 1987-1991 he served in the Army and fought in Panama. From 1991-1993 he was in the National Guard.
In 1984 he met his wife Kathryn Lorenzen and they married in 1987. Together they had 3 daughters. Chuck loved being a father and enjoyed being a grandfather even more. After the military, he found a career in telecommunications and on his off days he had fun playing golf, watching the Broncos, and talking about history (mainly the wars).
Chuck is survived by his wife, Kathryn Ward, his daughters, Jamie Louise, Revae Leslie, and Victoria Lauren Ward, along with his grandkids, Lillyan and Allyson Diekman, grand-niece Cassie Deere, and his sisters, Helen, Lucia, and Cynthia.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm, on June 13th at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont. Chuck's final resting will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Condolences and memories can be shared at www.ahlbergfuneralchapel.com.
