Christine was a sweet and generous collaborator and teacher. I loved partnering with her as a quilter because she had an uncanny ability to stay true to the original vision but add so much to it. Underneath her gentleness and artistry she had a keen sense of humor and was so generous with her time and talent. She will be greatly missed, and I will treasure both quilts we made together.

Ron, we send sincere condolences on the death of your Precious Daughter. Even though we haven't had much contact in the past years since we've grown and moved in opposite directions, I think of you often and remember with fondness the times with your family when we were kids! I would love to have known your growing family. I pray GOD's Comfort for you, Christine's husband and their daughter.

I received this postcard in a swap with Christine a few years ago. Her guild and my guild in Albuquerque had a swap. I treasure this work of art. I enjoyed seeing some of Christine’s quilts at a display at Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum in Golden, Colorado, she was truly gifted. My deepest condolences to the beloved family of Christine.

So deeply sorry for your loss. Christine was a wonderful, kind, caring neighbor and friend. She finished several quilts for me. About 11years ago she finished 2 quilts for my twin granddaughters, Amelia and Abigail.  They were beautifully done and they will always be cherished.   Each quilt she made was truly a work of art. She will be missed.

Christine was so kind to me and supportive when I met her at Quilt Con 2015. Her style was completely different from the style I used but she was a consistent inspiration. I’m grateful to have known her and her memory will be a blessing I carry forward.

My deepest sympathies to the Perrigo family. Christine was one of the first quilters that I met when I moved to Colorado 10 years ago. She was warm and welcoming and I so enjoyed getting to know her and work with her as a fellow officer of the Denver Metro Modern Quilt Guild. Her work was simply fabulous. So innovative, fresh and beyond compare. More important was her smile, gracious personality and friendship. Christine, you will be remembered always and dearly missed.  Julie Elliott

How I wish we could have had one more chat, one more quick hug, one more look that said more than words. I so admired your unique artistry, your quiet support, and how you moved through the world. I hope your family knows the impact you had on all of us. Rest well, my friend.

Christine was such a talented quilter.  When I designed this quilt, I knew that I wanted it for the cover of my book and I hoped that she would agree to quilt it.  It was a wonderful collaboration and Christine exceeded my expectations.  I will treasure it.  
I am thinking of all her family and friends who are experiencing deep grief.  My thoughts are with you.

Our guild came together in a very special way to make this quilt.  Christine was a major contributor.

I first met Christine at Quiltcon Savannah 2017 and was struck by her shy unassuming talent and I knew that I wanted to collaborate on some quilts with her, she always managed to guide me to bring out the best in the piece, with her excellent knowledge of stitch and her artistry. It was always a highlight of my Quiltcon visit catching up with her for a coffee and quilt chat. I will miss her and our phone calls and will always treasure the quilts that have that added magic by her quilting. Rest well dear Christine xxx

These are the memories that I come back to often, to see you in your element with art that we created together, celebrated together and shared with the greater quilting community. You saw beyond the fabric and the design, creating a stand-alone layer of stitching that defies definition. Trailblazer, visionary, artist, friend. You are missed.
