Christine (Chris) M. TiceMarch 16, 1916 - January 28, 2010Christine M. Tice died peacefully with family members by her side on Thursday, January 28, 2010. She was 93 years old.Christine was born on March 16, 1916 in Pryor, Oklahoma to James and Addie Kisner.She married Marion Tice on April 12, 1941 in Longmont, Colorado.Christine and her family moved to Longmont from Pryor, OK when she was 3 years old. Before she got married she worked at George's Candy Store in Longmont. She was a homemaker, a great cook and expert seamstress. She was a life long member of the Life Bridge Christian Church. Her favorite things were watching the Broncos, reading, walking and enjoying the sunshine. Christine had a ready smile, a quick wit and made everyone she met feel at home. She was easy going and accepted whatever life had to give.Christine is survived by her son Karl Tice and wife Kathy Murphy of Longmont, CO; and one brother Archie Kisner and his wife Fern of Charlotte, NC.She was preceded in death by her father and mother, James and Addie Kisner, and her husband Marion Tice, also brothers Charlie and Roy Kisner and sisters; Goldie Noreen, Nina Phillips, Daisy Sanders, Iva Burdick, Lillie Lowrie and Ruby Altergot.Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Crematory, Longmont.Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Howe Mortuary, Longmont.
