

Christopher Francis Anthony, of Lyons, died Monday, May 1, 2006 near his home in Lyons. He was 29 years old. Born June 19, 1976 in Longmont, the son of William Anthony and Debbie DeVeny. Chris grew up and attended school in Lyons, graduating from Lyons High School in 1996. He had a tremendous amount of love for life, his family and friends. Truly enduring by nature, he was always willing to help all of those he could, always making everyone laugh and bringing out the best in all of us. Chris was loved by many and will be truly missed. He had a passion for sports, especially basketball and softball. An electrician by trade, Chris worked at various construction sites in the Lyons and Longmont area. He is survived by his fiancée Sarah Heil; mother Debbie Babler and her husband Michael of Longmont; father, William Anthony and his wife Sandi O?Hare of Longmont; 2 brothers, Robert Anthony of Loveland and Joshua Anthony of Lyons; grandparents, Ron and Shirley DeVeny of Lyons; step-brothers, Stewart Babler of Denver and Billy Klena of Ft Collins; step-sister Sarah Dubbe of Longmont; niece and nephews, Zach, Amber, Jacob, and Logan Anthony; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. As well as his dog Selma and cat Princess. Visitation hours from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Howe Mortuary in Longmont. There will be a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 5, at The River, 18668 N. St. Vrain Drive in Lyons.
