My last memory of Chris was looking out the window and seeing him weed eating (1 1/2 weeks before he passed).  At that same time, I saw Amanda come out and look around the corner.  She said something to Chris and then threw her head back and laughed.  Later, I found out that Chris had taken his pain pills and then disappeared.  She found him working!!  It was amazing and inspiring to see how much he loved and cared for his family until the very end.  Literally.   You could find Chris talking lovingly about Amanda, playing with the kids, or working in the yard.   We were so blessed to have them as part of our lives.

What a great guy and person to share time with.  His attitude was infectious and his willingness to take on new challenges gave his peers energy to push to the next level.  Chris will be missed

I got to know Chris through his son Ashton. Chris always had a smile on his face whenever I saw him and he was always so positive. I was always impressed by his positive attitude, what a great attitude he had and his outlook on life. I know he will be missed by many.

It is honestly hard to even process this. I met Chris at Vienna First Baptist around 2004-2005. Chris has absolutely always treated me the best and like a gentleman. Chris, from every time i hung around him and every time I've interacted with him or known anything about him, has simply been a wonderful human being. Kindness was second nature to him. The last time i saw him, which was some years ago at a buddy's house, he offered to fix a PC for me for small pay if i just sent it to him. I should have taken him on the offer , i ultimately failed to.  No doubt his love for his family is what will live on the most. A truly wonderful soul that to me will live on forever. 

He will deeply be missed who all that knew him. He could light up the room with his smile. I will miss Chris he was always so sweet to me when we talked in church. My prayers are with you all.

Chris always had a smile on his face. He improved everyone’s mood. I enjoyed working with him and talking about college football. He was smart and a man of integrity. He truly loved his family. We will miss him. Rest In Peace. 

I met Chris when he moved out to Longmont, CO to start working with us at BHGE, so I only knew him a short time, but he made an everlasting impression.  Chris was always smiling and had a kind word for anyone he spoke to.  He adored his family above all, and would beam with pride whenever he spoke about them.  Chris was a man of integrity, patience, service, and kindness, and his light will shine on.  We are all better for having him in our lives, even if it was for too short a time.

I worked with Chris at StellarOne bank in Christiansburg Va.  He always called Ms. Pam and told me I reminded him of his mom.  So he said he had to be on his best behavior around me.   I would laugh at him and tell him is was silly.  He was a good guy and fun to work with.  He loved you Amanda and Amber.  Then the boys came and he adored them as well.   I am sure when the twins came his love grew even more!!  He had a big heart and loved his family!!  May the Lord be with you through this hard time.  Lean on the Lord he is there for you!!  Chris will surely be missed!!

Miss spending time chatting about computer related stuff. Always good to see him with a smile on his face. Miss checking in with him on the kids. Rest in peace Chris, you were such a wonderful person to be around and just cheered everyone up that you spoke with.
