I am deeply saddened by the passing of Chris. I had the privilege of working with him for many years, and during that time he became much more than a colleague — he was a true friend. We shared countless conversations about sports and life, and those talks meant a great deal to me. Even after we no longer worked together. I miss our time together. 

Chris was someone I could turn to in both good times and difficult ones, and I know he felt the same with me. His kindness, wisdom, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone around him. He will be missed more than words can say.

My prayers and heartfelt condolences go out to your family during this difficult time. Please know that his kindness and friendship will never be forgotten.

I was so sad to hear of Chris's passing.  I had known him since Kindergarten at Mountain View Elementary and what a lively youngster he was then!  Somewhere, I have a photo with him at the pumpkin patch with Mrs. Fox's class flashing that boyish grin of his. It was fun growing up in Longmont with him and suffering through sophomore English class together.  It is so wonderful to see what a beautiful family he built and how truly loved he was. A bright, shining light has gone out and he will be missed.

I wish you warmth and comfort during this time as you navigate the road ahead.  Peace be with you all.

I had the opportunity to work with Chris and we shared our Christian faith. He turned me onto one of the better books I’ve read (Purpose Driven Life) and I’m grateful for that advice. Sorry to hear of his passing and praying for his entire family.

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to Chris for the love, care, and kindness he showed my family. From the old-fashioned neighbor values, such as extra plates of food and always having a helping hand, your compassion and dedication touched their hearts, and we're forever grateful. Dear Rachel, Ron and I want you to know we are thinking about you and the kids. We are so sorry you have suffered the loss of Chris, and we grieve with you. Keep his memory close. It was a beautiful service, and heart-warming to hear all the stories of love and fun you've all had with Chris over the years. Sending you all wishes for peace, healing, and joy in the happy memories.

He lead a wonderful life full of love  for his family and friends.  Our memories of C.U. football and basketball games, Mexico and the other adventures over the years fill our hearts with fond memories and much joy.

I have known Chris for many years and have watched his children grow up.  Chris and his young family moved in next door to me and we hit it off right away with a common love of sports.   We became not just neighbors but close friends.  As his family grew they needed to upgrade to a larger house and with such great neighbors around them it was not a hard choice to purchase a larger home just three doors down.   I will always remember the corn hole tournament that had been going on for many years and as it grew in attendance he invited our family into being a co-host (although Chris did it all) where we have many fond memories and a few laughs that happened at what is known as "The Hut.  Chris through the years has put his personal touch with the placement of many Bronco memorabilia on the ceiling undenounced to me on occasion.  I will truly miss his smile when he would stop down to chat or compare and exchange foods that we made.   I am sure we all have special memories as that is what Chris did for all of us.

I teased Chris that he was the little brother I never wanted yet old enough to be his mom!  I will miss the CU /OU rivalry we shared as neighbors and as friends. He was so kind when my husband died and made sure to include me in so many of the family events.  He amazed me how he knew every player it seemed on every college and pro football ball team and their stats. His pride and love for his family stands out the most. I will miss his smile and his laugh. I love you friend!  I will see you again one day at the 5th quarter!! Love you Bev Cobo.

I knew Chris almost from the day he was born. Pam and Vince rushed Stacey over to our house to go to the hospital . They were overjoyed to have their little boy. As good neighbors and friends we went camping and boating alot. Chris was the baby of the four kids and now went on to have 4 babies of his own with his own with beautiful wife Rachel.He was such a good father to his children. 
Chris was always so welcoming to our family and took the time to visit with us about anything and everything.
He will be missed so much but I will never forget him.

This makes my heart hurt!  I didn’t have contact with him or his family after he grew up. I babysat for him as a baby and toddler.  Such a cute child.  Pam and Vince I am praying for you and his family!

Uncle Chris wanted me to have the best time while I was in Colorado. He planned for me and the rest of my CO family to go to Habachi for a belated birthday celebration. He then took my cousins and me to go Ice Skating and then stayed in a fun Hotel that night. This was the last adventure I took with him, and I loved every second of it. He had asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I said Avalanche gear. He gave me the hoodie I'm wearing in that picture, along with an Avalanche and Bronco jersey that I later found hidden in my suitcase when I traveled home. He didn't buy me new ones; he gave me his own so that I could have them. I will forever cherish them.
