Domestic or abroad, on land or at sea, on two wheels or on four; Chris was always willing to sit down, ask questions, and get to know new people. His larger than life personality was only surpassed by the size of his heart. He touched so many lives, made so many people happy, and leaves behind a huge hole in so many hearts. He loved to see live music, ride his Harley, spend time with his dogs and have great times with friends. With his booming voice and infectious laugh, you always knew when he arrived at the festivities. Not shy in the least, Chris never met anyone that he didn’t find interesting in some way.
Survivors include his dog Millie; sisters, Rachel Taylor (Craig) Widynowski of Boulder and Mary K. “Missy” Taylor; nephews Sam Lightsey, Taylor (Tucker) Lightsey of Louisville and Henry Widynowski of Boulder; and a list of friends and people that cared about him too long to include.
His parents and his dogs Aspen, Clancy and Maggie preceded him in death.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to either Big Bones Canine Rescue or the Longmont Humane Society in his honor.
Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services. There will be a viewing open to all who knew and cared about Chris on Saturday August 24th from 2pm to 5pm at Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman Street in Longmont.
