

Connie was born in Selma, California, and graduated from Selma High School. Shortly after graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, Ruben, and together they moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. They built a loving home in Hayward, California, where they raised their children, Greg and Renee. Over the years, their family grew to include three granddaughters and two great-grandsons. In 2021, Connie and Ruben moved to Longmont, Colorado, to be closer to their daughter’s family.
Connie worked at Fireside Thrift Savings & Loan for more than 35 years, where she was a loyal colleague and respected mentor.
Connie was a ray of sunshine whose smile could brighten any room. She loved staying active, spending time with family and friends, meeting new people, and forming lasting friendships.
Her family — including her extended family — meant everything to her. She was the one who was always ready for an adventure. Connie proudly supported her loved ones and celebrated each of their accomplishments with joy and enthusiasm.
Connie was preceded in death by her son, Greg Hernandez. She is survived by her loving husband, Ruben; daughter Renee Price (Christopher); granddaughters Emily Hernandez (Matt), Lauren Hernandez, and Julia Price; and great-grandsons Lucas Hernandez and Aiden Hernandez.
Family and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 10:00 am. A Reception will follow at St. John’s Benedict Hall.
Connie will be laid to rest in California privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Connie’s memory to the American Liver Foundation.
