Constance Cecile Rutt

Constance Connie Rutt, age 85, passed away on June 12, 2018 in Longmont, CO.Connie was born Feb. 11, 1933 in Central Falls, Rhode Island to Joseph Napoleon Martin, Sr. and Auriza Lariviere. She graduated from Anna Maria College with her Bachelor's degree and then pursued her Master's degree in Chemistry at the University of Detroit.On Sept. 7, 1963 Connie married Paul Anthony Rutt, Jr. in Oak Ridge, Michigan. She lived in Jackson, Michigan from 1963 to 2014 when she relocated to Longmont, Colorado to be near her son and his family.Connie and her husband Paul were active members of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Parish in Jackson, Michigan.Connie enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening and most of all spending time with her grandsons.She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, Alfred and Raymond, and three sisters, Theresa, Jean and Rita.Connie is survived by her son by her son Paul Martin Rutt and his wife Kimberley, two grandsons, Andrew Paul Rutt and Alexander Joseph Rutt, and two brothers Joseph and Normand.There will be a visitation at 10:00am on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Jackson, Michigan, followed by a Roman Catholic Funeral Mass at Queen of the Miraculous Medal church at 11:00 am. Friends of Connie are invited to a luncheon in the parish hall at 12:00 pm to share memories and stories of her life.
