Cynthia Louise Autrey

She graduated from Boulder High in 1957. She married William (Bill) H Rush in 1958, and their daughter Kyle Ann Rush Katz was born in 1960. A stay-at-home mom, she was active in Beta Sigma Phi, becoming a lifelong member, as well as playing in several bridge groups, she was also a Girl Scout Troop leader and a rodeo mom.

Cindy was married to George R Autrey in 1984 until his death in 2018. She and George loved to travel and took several river boat trips on the Mississippi Queen River Boat. She also enjoyed trips to Kentucky to visit Kyle and stock up on unique antiques and Kentucky bar-B-Q. She worked with George on the board of the South Boulder Canon Ditch Co, collected antique tractors and early Boulder items she found on eBay, and she loved being on the farm. She also took an active part in planning Boulder High School class of 57 reunions for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Marie as well as her sister, Patricia L Carlson Bourne McCory. She is survived by her daughter Kyle Ann, her first husband William Rush, as well as her family of the heart, Steve and Arleen Penner, Austin and Morgan (Penner) Fritzler and great grandson Penner Raymond Fritzler.

A memorial service will be held at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, Longmont Colorado on May 5th at 11:00. A light repast will follow the service. She will then be interred in Green Mountain Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Longmont Humane Society 9595 Nelson Road Longmont, CO
