

Dale was born on February 18, 1972, in Boulder, Colorado. He graduated from Centaurus High School and continued his education at Metro State College where he played baseball and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Parks and Recreation Management.
Dale is survived by his loving wife,Tami; his parents, Duane and Barbara Bjorhus; his brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Val Bjorhus; nieces and nephews: Natasha (Dan) Kinney, Peter (Amanda) Kozlowski, Dana Bjorhus, and Cody (Dallas) Bjorhus.
He is also survived by Tami’s parents, Jack and Judy Barnett; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Todd and Jenny Barnett; nephews, Conner (Natalie) Barnett and Nick Barnett. Dale is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Dale and Tami enjoyed their fur babies Budweiser Jackson Bjorhus and Daytona Alan Bjorhus.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, wood working, home improvement projects and cheering for the CU Buffs. He loved visiting historical sites and learning about history. Dale also had an interest in all things related to farming.
Dale lived his life as a Godly man who was devoted to his family and the Lord. He was a member of Fourway Baptist Church where he served as an usher. He had a strong work ethic and a great personality. He was a longtime employee of St. Vrain Valley School District in Longmont, Colorado.
Although Dale’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do. As you continue to worship Jesus up there, dear Dale, your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
The funeral services will be held at Fourway Baptist Church, 9966 County Road 41, Ft. Lupton, CO 80621 on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Chad Minne officiating. Dale will be laid to rest at Olinger Highland Mausoleum privately.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Fourway Baptist Church to support missionaries for the church. In the memo line on checks please write, “In memory of Dale Bjorhus.” Following the funeral services, lunch will be served at the church.
