Dan R. Elwood

Dan Elwood, 48, of Longmont, died July 30, 2013. He was born October 11, 1964 to Farren and Arlene Elwood. Dan grew up in Lyons, CO and went to school there from kindergarten through 12th grade and enjoyed playing in numerous little league sports.One of Dan's highlights in life was spending time with his son Daniel. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and watching endless hours of football (especially the Denver Broncos). Dan was preceded in death by his Uncle Bob Bachy; grandparents Ray and Mary Cink and grandfather Leonard Elwood.He is survived by his son, Daniel Elwood of Longmont; parents Farren and Arlene Elwood of Longmont; sister Tammy Crowell and her husband Rick of Mead; nephew Kyle Crowell of Longmont; grandmother Helen Cottrill of Greeley; Aunt Darlene Bachy of Lyons; Cousins Bob Bachy Jr. and Dennis Bachy both of Lyons; great-uncle Marvin and great-aunt Farice Elwood of Ft. Morgan; second cousins Sheena Lovett of Scottsdale AZ, Denny Bachy of Mead and Debbie and Myron Elwood both of Greeley,Visitation will be Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 10-11 a.m at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
