Hard to believe that a year has gone by.  I think about Dan often, and really miss our visits.  He was a great guy, and a good friend.

You are a treasure dad. You’re life was filled with miracle after miracle and who you were will always be one my greatest examples of God’s goodness. What a privilege it was to watch you grow and transform in this life, what a privilege it is to be your daughter.  I will never forget the image of you during church with your arms stretched as high and as wide as possible. Like nothing could stop you from reaching up and touching God. I will treasure your laugh, your strength and every sacred memory I have of you always. I hope you’re fishing and relaxing and maybe pulling a few pranks on the angels. Emerie and I love you and miss you ♥️

I was so saddened to learn of Danny’s death.   We went to school together from the 4th grade until our senior year in 1978.    I have many fond memories of Danny — and his blue mustang.   We used to blare the tunes from The Beach Boys and had the best of times.  My heartfelt condolences to his family.   

I just learned today of your passing my old friend. My god bless you and your family. I will always remember the good times we shared and the rides in Tony's Vette, racing our GTO's down 16th street Always wish we would have kept more in touch, funny how life leads us to our own separate travels. Probably better that way as we were mostly trouble when we were together. But oh the fun we had. I've missed you brother and maybe we can touch base on the other side.

My heart broke hearing of Dan's passing, I've had the privilege of working with Dan for years and always enjoyed learning from him and seeing how much he cared about people, those who worked with and for him. His heart stood out, he made the right decisions and put people first. He'll be missed. 

Several years ago my wife Julie and myself had the privilege  to accompany Dan and Mel to one of his favorite destinations, the Dominican Republic.  While there I was given the opportunity to get to know Dan outside of work, which was great.  The four of us rented dune buggies and took a tour of the jungle shortly after a heavy rain.  We got so muddy I think that we had to throw away our clothing once we returned to the resort!  Fond memories, the industry and the world lost a good man, be at Peace Dan.

I’ve send our prayers to the entire family.  Dan was one of the really good guys that was a gift to all who knew him.

Dan was my father in-law and a person that I looked up to in many ways.  Dan was a great man, friend, father and grandfather.  He will be truly missed by many.  I had some good conversations with Dan about work, life, family, and faith.  It was a great privilege to have known him and learned from him.  We will all miss him greatly.

I was Dan's first crew chief when he came to work at Bacon & Schramm way back when.  I Remember how afraid he was the first time I had him carry Hot Asphalt and fill the mop carts as the majority of the commercial roofing was still hot moped at that time.  Later that summer I recall we started installing more  EPDM and I think  that is what started  Dan excelling at the single ply systems. Our time together was short but I always enjoyed seeing him at the table top shows and the CRA functions.  I knew way back then that he'd make a name for himself.
