He was born in Denver, Colorado on July 12, 1952 to Betty and George Fox. Dave graduated from Longmont High School in 1970 and continued studies after high school at Mesa Junior College.
Dave began working in the trucking industry where he started out as a driver and then worked his way up to retire as a regional manager, mentoring many and creating friendships his entire career.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge where he could be found on a Friday night for meal with friends and a few laughs.
He had a passion for riding his motorcycles, watching his Broncos play and enjoying baby back ribs whenever he could. He also had a passion for his family and would do anything for them, especially with his children and grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by both of his parents, Betty and George Fox and his niece Wendy Gunlickson. He is survived by his daughter Jenny Fox-Tabor (Wade), son Brian Fox, grandson Landon and granddaughter Mallory, his sisters, Kay Grove (Bill), Rebecca Fox and Patty Longo as well as his nieces and nephews, Chad Adler, Travis Adler, Jason Longo, Brooke Silva (Mike), Brady Grove (Angel), Michela Longo, Beth Longo and Matt Longo (Lupita) as well as many grand nieces and nephews.
