

Dave was born to William “Brooks” Hall and Lillian Louise Solem, a Boulder pioneer family, in Boulder December 3, 1957. He grew up in Longmont, graduating from Longmont High School in 1976. He was also enrolled at the Career Development Center, Printing Trades program.
Dave grew up as a part of Central Presbyterian Church, where he was active in their youth programs. He married Kim Shupe on May 22, 1979 in Boulder. They were best friends and soul mates.
Dave, “Hipty”, enjoyed a 30 year career with Estey Printing, Boulder. He enjoyed his experience there, working in the prepress department and perfecting his talent. He more recently worked for Golden West Senior Living Center in Boulder as a maintenance tech where he was loved by all.
Dave enjoyed living the quiet rural life of Boulder County, owning a small acreage in the county for the past 12 years. He enjoyed home improvement projects, fishing and camping with his family, spending quality time at the American Legion Beaver Lake campsites.
Preceding Dave in death are his parents and a brother William Brooks Hall, Jr..
Surviving are his wife of Longmont; a son Ryan (Leah) Hall of Longmont; daughter Rhandine (Dave Gerritzen) Hall of Longmont; a sister Marian Hall of Longmont; and five grandchildren Isaiah and Isabelle Hall; Charles Snyder, Lillian Gerritzen and Madelyn Forrest; nieces and nephews; his favorite cousin Maggie Boden and her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:30, Saturday, June 3 at the family farm, 8591 N. 119th St., Longmont.
