David was born on August 8, 1954 in Longmont to Jake and Alice (Minch) Heil. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Harold Heil and a sister Jayce Wagner. He is survived by his son Jake Heil of Ft Lupton who was the light of his life; sisters, Bernice Bonde and June Dolan, both of Longmont; and dear friend Terri Janson, also of Longmont; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. David was employed atAggregate Industries. He loved camping, fishing and hunting at Swede Lake and Wyoming.
A celebration of David’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Howe Mortuary in Longmont. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Retriever Rescue of Colorado c/o Howe Mortuary.
