

Deborah Lynne Schultz, 54, died December 28, 2016 at her home in Federal Heights, CO following a hard fought and courageous battle with cancer. Over the course of the last nine months she fought to be with her family on her Christmas Day birthday. She did what was her goal to do and her family was able to enjoy every minute of one last birthday with her.
She was born December 25, 1962 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Robert Hilbig and Darlene Pearson Hilbig. She attended elementary and high school in Frederick, CO.
Debbie and her husband Scott loved their motorcycle rides in the mountains. Debbie loved taking pictures of waterfalls and animals. She also enjoyed going to Blackhawk with her friends and family.
Debbie worked at Gordman’s department store in Thornton for eighteen years.
Surviving are her husband Scott Schultz, her mother Darlene Hilbig and step-dad Dwayne Schossow, her father Robert Hilbig and step mother Jean Hilbig, daughter Deanna Michell and her husband Lyle, son Chad Davison and his wife Stephanie, sister Sheri Martin, brother Randy Hilbig, step-sister Diana Schossow, step-brother Doug Schossow and his wife Jenifer. She is further survived by Diane and Dick Cramer, Ken and May Schultz, Steve Schultz, Rick Cramer, Sue Diamond, Karen Peterson, Julie Minch and numerous nieces and nephews.
Debbie will be greatly missed by all that loved her, and Scott will be cherished for fighting all the way with her and taking care of her thru her illness.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, January 16 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel in Longmont.
