Debra Bustos

Debbie Worthington Bustos, 62, of Thornton, Colorado, passed away after battling chronic illness for many years. On April 30, 2017 she succumbed to that battle. She was born on September 15, 1954, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Fred and Winona (Bobbitt) Worthington. Debbie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother; her two grandsons were the light of her life. She loved the outdoors, reading, cooking, traveling, and her beloved dogs. She retired from Northrop Grumman.Debbie is survived by her husband Vernon whom she was married to for forty-four years, her son Brian Bustos, her daughter Catina Bustos, grandsons Alec and Preston Bustos, sisters Cheryl Armstrong (Dave), Judy Sailer (Gary) Karen Lewis (Juan), brothers Jim Worthington (Linda), Scott Worthington (Heather) and numerous nieces and nephews.Memorial service will be 10 AM, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Heart of Longmont United Methodist Congregation, 350 11th Ave, Longmont, CO. Contributions can be made to The National Humane Society of the United States and sent in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
