Dianne Kay Jones

Dianne Kay Jones passed away April 30, 2016 at Longmont United Hospital. She was 64 years old.Dianne was born on March 18, 1952 in Milwaukee, WI to Russell and Mary (Goodwin) Wicker. The first of 5 children, she had an active childhood. She spent summer vacations at her grandparents' cabin on Crooked Lake outside Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin. She was an excellent student, and usually had straight-A report cards. She graduated from Custer High School in 1969, where she was a member of the National Honor Society.On September 20, 1969 she married Thomas Ray Jones in Milwaukee, WI, he preceded her in death on September 20, 1989.Dianne learned computer programming at a technical school shortly after graduating high school. She moved to Colorado and worked as a software developer at Storage Technology for several years, and then began a long career at Jeppesen Sanderson Inc. When her position was eliminated in 2012, she considered herself retired. Dianne moved to Longmont, CO from Parker, Co in 2013. After moving to Longmont she found true love and joy in the last years of her life with Allan Bosward.Dianne is survived by her Life Partner Allan Bosward “ How fine you are to me!; her son Darrel Jones of Longmont; her parents Russell Lloyd and Mary Jean Wicker of Milwaukee, WI; her brothers Dennis Jay Wicker of Oconomowoc, WI and Dean Clay Wicker of Lisbon, WI; her sisters Dawn Fay Wicker of Milwaukee, WI and Donna Rae Wicker of Broomfield, CO; her nephew Jason (Jennifer) Wicker of Littleton, CO; and her grand-nephews Owen and Cole Wicker of Littleton, CO.A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday May 6, 2016 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
