It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dolores Marie Giorgio. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Dolores was surrounded by her loving family while she passed at her home in Longmont on August 2, 2026.
Dolores was born on February 25, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Joseph Jacobs and Florence Caravaggio. She married the love of her life, Stephen Giorgio, and was married to
him for 66 years until his passing in 2016. Together they raised a beautiful daughter, Elisa Goldmann, and then had a son in law, Dennis Goldmann and two grandchildren, Laura and
Holly Goldmann.
Family was always the most important thing to Dolores as her and Stephen packed up their whole life and moved from New Jersey to Colorado to help raise their two grandchildren. Dolores was adored by her grandchildren and all their friends. She was filled
with warmth, kindness, and was always the first to offer help when family needed it.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Giorgio and is survived by her daughter, Elisa Goldmann, son in law Dennis Goldmann, and grandchildren, Laura and Holly Goldmann.
A memorial service will be held at Howe Mortuary and Crematory in Longmont on Monday, August 17th at 12pm. There will be a reception afterwards at the Pumphouse in Longmont. A special thank you to everyone at the Bridge in Longmont where she was living and Bloom Healthcare for helping to take care of Dolores in her final months.
