Donna was born July 11, 1941 in Humboldt, NE the daughter of Melvin and Goldie Ellen (Smith) Shubert, Sr. She married Verne Buskirk in 1967 in Idaho Springs, CO. She had worked at Ann’s Boutique’s and also as a property manager for a mobile home park.
Survivors include her husband Vern of Longmont, her son Wayne Harms of Oregon, her brothers Roy (Elaine) Shubert and Melvin (Jacki) Shubert, Jr and numerous nieces and nephews. Her grandson Jake and her granddaughters Michelle, Mandy and Jennifer further survive her.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her brother’s Floyd and Robert Shubert and her sisters Norma Taylor and Martha Sannes and a grandson Jason Harms.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm. On Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
