Donna Rae Giebelhaus

Donna Rae Giebelhaus of Loveland, Colorado died November 4, 2008 at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. She was 75.Donna was born on May 24, 1933 in Greeley, Colorado to Alex and Peggy (Miller) Mitchell. She married Don Giebelhaus in 1952. Donna and Don farmed in the Mead area with Donna working at various jobs throughout her life. She was a loving and kind person who enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. She always went to their activities to show her support. Donna was a loyal Bronco fan, enjoyed going to Black Hawk, loved animals, going fishing and playing bingo.Mrs. Giebelhaus was preceded in death by her parents. Donna is survived by her husband Don; her four children: Debra (Jerry) Wilson of Berthoud, Stephanie Gould (Adrian Avila) of Longmont, Michael Giebelhaus of Longmont, and Denise (Glenn) Mitchell of Florence; grandchildren: Tonya Huwa, Tracy Schweitzer, Travis Gould, Jeremy Wilson, Amy Reitz, Eric Mitchell, Sara Mitchell; and four great grandchildren.Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6 at Howe Mortuary from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 7 at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Mary Dobbs officiating at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery .Memorials may be given to Longmont Humane Society, 9595 Nelson Road, Longmont, CO 80501.
