Donna Michelle Rhodes

Michelle was born on March 26, 1965, to John and Virginia Denesha in Colorado Springs. Growing up in Boulder, Colorado, she attended local schools later continuing her education at Colorado State University. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Political Science in 1987. She met an old friend in passing, and the rest was history with an engagement ring around a new budding rose, a symbol of their love. On October 21, 1989, Michelle married Bill Rhodes.

Michelle will be deeply missed by her husband of 36 years, Bill Rhodes. She will be lovingly remembered by her children. Rachel Rhodes and her Husband, Josh, and their two children, Nathaniel and Vylette, Jennifer Watson and her husband, Nolan. Her mother, Virginia Denesha and her siblings, Dave and his wife, Leah, Dan and his wife, Amy, Dusti and her husband, Daryl and her many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. She is joined in rest by her father, John Denesha, along with many other loved ones throughout her life.

Among Michelle’s most significant accomplishments was raising her two children, whom she held as her pride and joy. Attending many sporting events, countless trips to the pumpkin patch, and always making beautifully decorated birthday cakes. She loved to celebrate Christmas with family and make sure all the i‘s were dotted and t’s were crossed. She also loved to cross stitch, read, and dig into the bible with her friend and savior, Jesus Christ.

A Celebration of Life for Michelle will be held Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501. Those wishing to pay their respects and celebrate her life are welcomed.
