Doris Jean Krueger, 92, of Longmont, CO passed away October 9, 2014 at Life Care Center of Longmont. She was born August 21, 1922 in Shelbina, Missouri to Carl and Ethel (Pouage) Richards.Doris married Floyd Krueger in April of 1946 in Shelbina, MO. She moved to Longmont in 1988 from Illinois.Doris was a care giver, working in health services. Doris was very family orientated; along with her own children she raised five foster children all the way through college.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and one sister.Doris is survived by her son Richard Krueger and his wife Cindy of Cedaredge, CO a daughter Shirley Smith and husband Jack of Frederick, CO, five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.Private services will be held, and inurnment will be in Plymouth, Illinois.
