So glad I was able to know Doug and call him "family". He was always kind, helpful and funny! I'll never forget how he welcomed all of my friends to honor my husband when he passed last year. It was a beautiful celebration of Life and Doug was awesome. He made sure his grounds were perfect and manned his grill for hours to make us all the most delicious briskets! Now we have gathered in that same place honoring him. What a tragic turn of events! My daughter adores him as he did her. That will never end. They deserved many more years together but I am thankful for the years I knew him. Rest in peace Doug. We'll all see you again when our Lord calls us home. 💝

My Dad was the most amazing, hard working, and caring person you could ever ask for. He was my best friend and my rock. Above all, he was the head of his family of five. My mother who spent 32 years by his side, my siblings, Melanie and Mason, and myself will miss him more than anyone could ever know. We love you, Dad.
