Doyle Leroy Copeland

Doyle Leroy Copeland, 70, of Longmont, died June 14, 2016 at his home. He was born July 7, 1945 in Denver, Colorado the son of Doris and GW Copeland. Doyle grew up in Aurora, CO. After his high school graduation, he joined the United States Navy, serving for four years. He served on the USS Hancock in Vietnam for one year. Following his honorable discharge Doyle went to work for IBM for 20 years, before it transitioned to Lexmark where he worked for another 10 years before retiring.

Doyle will be remembered as a lover of cars, trucks, the Denver Broncos the Colorado Avalanche and the CU Buffs.

Doyle is survived by his sisters Carol Harding and Connie Reed, several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Joan Edmonds.

His family says he will be remembered as a good man and will be greatly missed.

Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel.
