Edith was born April 10, 1919 in Montgomery County, Iowa the daughter of Raymond and Ruth (Trude) Braden. Edith married Maurice Woods on October 30, 1937 in Red Oak, Iowa
Mr. and Mrs. Woods moved to Longmont in 1997 to be closer to family. He preceded her in death in 2004.
Preceding him in death were a daughter Barbara Myers, a grandson Adam Woods, and two son-in-laws Ken Myers and Ron Ireland.
Surviving are three sons, Fred Woods of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Max Woods and his wife, Donna, of Lockport, Illinois and Chuck Woods and his wife, Alice, of Longmont; two daughters, Delores Peck and her husband, Kenneth, of Holt, Missouri and Vicki Ireland of Longmont. 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren further survive her.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the Greenlawn Cemetery, Berthoud, CO. with David Bradshaw officiating.
