
Edward Ellis ˜Eddie' Cobb died December 16, 2011. He was 49 years old.He was born August 25, 1962 in Longmont to Ellis D. and Wilma A. (Davignon) Cobb. Eddie spent most of his youth in Longmont and Durango Colorado. On March 13, 1985 he married Lori Luepke. They had their only daughter February 13, 1993.Eddie was a master carpenter. Pursing his career in construction throughout the United States he was living in Durango, CO; Laguna Hills, CA; Kansas City, KS; Palm Springs, CA, Milwaukee, WI; Pensacola, FL and Cedarburg, WI. He returned to Longmont in 2009 to help care for his ailing Father.He is remembered as a loving father, selfless man, an expert story teller, amateur comedian, walking encyclopedia, and living radio. He was a man who knew no strangers, only new friends. He had no ill words for anyone he knew. He loved unconditionally always and would go to great lengths to make someone's day or make them smile, even if all that would take is a stupid joke or a little ditty. He was an amazing man whose greatest joy was taking care of the people around him and making everyone feel welcome, cared-for, and loved. Eddie was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back if you asked. He was and is greatly loved by everyone who met him. Eddie is survived by his wife Lori and daughter Dana of Cedarburg, WI. He is also survived by his parents Ellis and Wilma Cobb of Longmont, four sisters Patty Cobb Kemp, Susan Davis (husband Frank) and Mary Calaci (husband Mike) Nancy Alcos (husband Milton), one brother Chris Cobb (wife Janie) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Tammy.A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday Dec. 20, 2011 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Cremation is in the care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
