Edwin Stiles Hobart

November 21, 1962 – May 27, 2026
Obituary of Edwin Stiles Hobart
IN THE CARE OF

Howe Mortuary & Crematory

Ed leaves behind his loving family including the love of his life Vickie Frazier; his loved step son and grandson Style and Remi Hobart; his very loved twin sister Marian Sigmon her husband and one of Ed’s best friends Jeff Sigmon; his brother-in-law and friend Tony Trosper and his wife Leah Trosper; his beloved children Laura, Carrisa, and Jerimiah; his 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandbaby on the way; along with many wonderful friends who shared time with him on his journey through life.

Everyone around Ed knew that he was accountable for everything he held near and dear to him. If someone asked him for a favor, he did everything he could for them, it filled him with joy knowing he could be counted on for those around him without question. Ed enjoyed spending time in the beautiful mountains where he camped, boated, watched the wildlife, and treasured God’s creations with his family and friends. Ed cherished those quiet moments. Among all his wonderful family and friends, he left behind Dick Wilsey. Dick was an important figure in Ed’s life. Seen as a father figure, giving Ed unconditional love and support when he needed it, most importantly during the trials and tribulations of life.

Ed loved people and living life. Ed will be lovingly remembered in our hearts for how wonderful he was. He will be truly missed by those who knew him. We hold him in our hearts until we meet again. He is with God now, along with the friends and family that preceded him

The Eagle Story: As the eagle must force her young from the nest to teach them how to fly, so our father must press us out of routine to the things he’d have us try… And just as the Eagle guards her own to ensure their safety in flight, our Lord is near when we try our wings, we’re never out of his sight. But should the Eagle begin to fall, the Eagle swoops down from above to rescue it’s young and bear it up on wings of strength and love… So how can we doubt that the Eagles creator, the one who made as all, would fail to save and deliver us if we should start to fall?

Fond memories & expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.howemortuary.com with his loving family.
