

Elias was born April 17, 1933, in Bishop, TX to Patricia and Santos Sias Sr. He was born into a large family and had 5 siblings. As a kid he was described as having an adventurous spirit and was hard-working from an early age.
Before moving to Colorado, Elias met the love of his life, Sylvia Sias, and married her on March 25, 1956, in Edinberg, TX. Together they had 4 beautiful children. Unfortunately, his oldest son, Juanito Sias, passed away at three months old. His parenting style was described as strict, but wonderful. He also wanted to be friends with everyone who he encountered. Not only was he friendly, but he was also outgoing, a conversationalist, and enjoyed sharing his faith and love of music with others.
Over the course of his life, he was a Pastor in the Colorado Springs and Pueblo areas for many years. He was ordained as a minister on June 15, 1960 and began his journey as a Pastor. In his working years, he held a few jobs as a Motel Manager in Pueblo, CO, a Laborer at Longmont Foods Turkey Plant in Longmont, CO, then retired and continued to work as a Courtesy Clerk at King Soopers. After that, his true passion was found when working as a minister at Iglesia Apostolica de la fe en Cristo Jesús in Longmont, CO.
During his free time, he would play one of his many instruments, he also sang and gave music lessons to others. He enjoyed yard work as well as hosting bible study.
Elias is preceded in death by his parents Santos Sias Sr. and Patricia Arevalo Sias, his first-born son Juanito Sias, son-in-law Paul Jones, all siblings, and grandson Evans Jones.
He is survived by his forever love, Sylvia Sias, his children Joe Sias and Margret Sias, Ike and Lupe Hasenauer, grandchildren; CJ and Serena Earhart, Shanon Blakely, Chris and Keara Sias, Tracie Hayes, Alexis and Leonel Montes, Nicole and Vincente Lopez, Annette and Dominic Benintinde, Elijah Hasenauer, Luana Jones, Vincent and Shayleen Marroti, great grandchildren; Raiana Blackwater, Shane and Raenell Blackwood, Valeria Montes, Hunter and Constance and Lila Sias, Joseph and Haily Barger, Emma and Cooper Earhart, Cambria and Leif Benintinde, Kenneth Sanchez, and Imani Samari Blackwood.
